CONDITIONS Aging Free radicals take their toll over the years, damaging and cross-linking protein tissues, causing wrinkling of the skin, accelerating aging, and contributing to the development of arterial disease, cancer, and cataracts. Brain and arterial tissue are particularly vulnerable to free radical damage. Free radical damage can be both prevented and reversed by taking supplementary antioxidants, as provided in generous amounts by the Arterial Cleansing Formula. As the body ages, it produces less hydrochloric acid and digestive enzymes. As these digestive juices decline, so does the body’s ability to digest, aborb and utilize nutrients in the diet. Reduced ability to utilize nutrients ensures that the body will continue to decline even further. This viscous cycle can be reversed by supplementing with the Digestive Enzyme Formula, as needed to promote healthy digestion. As the body ages, it also produces less somatotropin (STH) also called growth hormone or "youth" hormone. STH acts directly on most bodily tissues to lay down protein necessary for repair, healing and cellular maintenance. It builds muscle, burns fat, and improves exercise performance. Lack of STH directly contributes to muscle wasting, loss of strength, thinner arterial walls, thinner skin, thinning hair, declining digestive juices, loss of bone density, lower production of hormones and neurotransmitters, loss of energy and diminished interest in sex. Restoring STH production reverses all of these losses – and that can be facilitated by supplementing with the Rejuvenation Formula. The amino acids, herbs, glandular concentrates and minerals in this unique formulation helps the body to produce more STH, repair damaged cartilage and collagen, produce more muscle energy fuel, improve brain function, build muscle, burn fat, aid liver detoxification, and improve the elasticity of tissues.
Every alcoholic is also hypoglycemic. Unless blood sugar levels are brought under control, there is no way to reduce the body’s cravings for alcohol. Many recovering alcoholics switch to sugar and caffeine to satisfy the cravings, but the cravings still persist until body chemistry is brought into balance. To do this it is necessary to restrict all refined and concentrated sugars, all caffeine, and all alcohol. Eat generous amounts of nourishing, whole, unrefined foods. Supplement with the Stress Formula. Large amounts of vitamin C, to bowel tolerance, can reduce tissue dependence. [Note: To find bowel tolerance, gradually increase the amount of vitamin C taken daily until it causes diarrhea or excessive intestinal gas, then back off by 10 per cent – e.g., if 10,000 mg. (10 grams) per day causes excessive gas, then take 9,000 mg. daily.]
Allergy, Food
Alzheimer’s disease is a form of presenile or senile dementia (general mental deterioration). It is characterized by the destruction of nerve cells in several key areas of the brain devoted to mental functions, tangles of nerve fibres, and plaque formation. Alzheimer’s has been linked to free radical damage, atherosclerosis, low thyroid function, and vitamin B-12 deficiency. Increased levels of aluminum have also been detected in the nerve tangles and senile plaques of Alzheimer’s patients. We become overexposed to aluminum from antacids, douches and over-the-counter drugs (e.g., Amphojel, Malox, Mylanta, Gelusil, Bufferin, Massengil, Summer’s Eve), aluminum cookware, aluminum foil, aluminum-containing underarm antiperspirants, commercial baking powder, and contaminated water. Aluminum buildup in the body can be safely removed by nutritional means (heavy metal detoxing).

Arteriosclerosis – see "Atherosclerosis" Arthritis There are many variations of arthritis. Most of them involve hidden food allergies. Almost any food can be involved, depending on each person’s unique sensitivities. If allergies are involved, then no attempt to heal arthritis can be successful until all of the offending foods are identified and eliminated completely. To the joints, these foods are poisons. A little bit of a poison is still a poison. [The most common food offenders in arthritis are the nightshade family (tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, paprika, eggplant, cayenne, chili, tobacco), milk products, sugar, caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate, cola drinks), wheat, oranges, corn, soy, and food additives/preservatives.] Rheumatoid arthritis is a deeply entrenched form of allergic arthritis. It is an autoimmune disorder in which antibodies attack the cartilage and connective tissue surrounding the joints. In addition to hidden food allergies, people with rheumatoid arthritis usually also have weak digestion, low thyroid function, and a "leaky gut" (intestinal permeability). Osteoarthritis is marked by progressive deterioration of the cartilage in synovial joints and vertebrae. Both weak digestion and hidden allergies are usually involved. It is difficult for most people to believe that simply by not eating certain foods one may be able to avoid the need for hip or knee replacement surgery.
Asthma Increasing blood sugar levels to normal (i.e., by eating or drinking something sweet) will stop an asthmatic attack. The "puffer" drugs used to dilate the bronchial tubes also stimulate the adrenal glands to release more glucose from the liver, thus increasing blood sugar levels. If they did not do that, they would not be completely successful in stopping the attack. The drop in blood sugar that precedes an asthmatic attack can be brought on by exposure to something to which the sensitive person is allergic or simply by consuming a sugary food or beverage. The target organs that make one vulnerable to both allergies and low blood sugar are the adrenal glands. Asthma can be permanently overcome by taking the following three actions: (1) Identifying and eliminating all inhalant and food allergens. (2) Following a hypoglycemic diet. (3) Strengthening the adrenal glands.
Atherosclerosis Ischemia refers to the gradually diminishing blood supply caused by the buildup of arterial plaque. As ischemia progresses in coronary arteries, it can cause angina pectoris. As it progresses in the legs in can cause intermittent claudication. Diabetics are particularly prone to arterial damage and ischemia, making them vulnerable to gangrene and retinopathy. The buildup of plaque is initiated by free radical damage to the artery wall. Free radicals mutate the DNA of arterial cells, causing them to replicate themselves many times over (monoclonal proliferation). The proliferating cells form, in effect, a mini-tumor in the artery wall. This tumor-like growth expands, stretching and tearing the inner lining of the artery. The blood lays down fibrin to patch the tears. Minerals and debris circulating in the blood become trapped in the patch. Because of opposing electromagnetic charges, the trapped minerals attract fats. Finally, a layer of cholesterol is laid down over the patch. This cholesterol serves two purposes: (1) It gives the patch a slippery surface so that blood cells can glide past it, and (2) It acts as an antioxidant of last resort by donating electrons to neutralize free radicals, thus itself becoming oxidized in the process. Cholesterol is the last ingredient in the plaque, not the first. Contrary to popular myth, cholesterol does not cause heart disease. Since 1983, many thousands of people on two continents have been using a "nutritional bypass" program both to prevent and remove the arterial deposits that are responsible for heart attacks and strokes. "Before" and "after" angiograms and Doppler tests have, in some cases, revealed complete removal of significant arterial blockages within several months of starting the program. Symptoms – such as angina, leg cramps, lack of measurable pulse in the ankles, tingling in the hands, trembling and even gangrene – often disappear within weeks. Blood pressure, cholesterol, triglyceride and homocysteine levels tend to normalize themselves. Many who were scheduled for bypass surgery no longer require it. Many have been able to throw away their diuretics, blood thinners, ASA/aspirin, anti-cholesterol drugs and nitro-glycerin. Included in the Nutritional Bypass program is an Arterial Cleansing Formula consisting of over 30 vitamins, minerals, lipotropic factors, amino acids and glandular concentrates. This time-tested formulation helps the body to (1) make lipoprotein lipase, an enzyme that dissolves arterial fats, (2) neutralize free radicals before they can cause cellular damage, (3) manufacture enough T-cells and antibodies to locate and destroy mutated cells before they can proliferate, (4) increase the diameter of blood vessels, (5) improve the flow characteristics of the blood by making it more slippery and less likely to clump up, (6) open up collateral blood vessels around obstructions, creating new pathways for blood to reach vital tissues, (7) dissolve blood clots, (8) normalize blood pressure, (9) chelate or remove heavy metals from arterial plaque, and (10) protect vital tissues from oxidative damage.
